On their 15th matchday of the N3 season, the reserve team lost 1-0 away to Lyon La Duchère.
Despite dominating the game, Razik Nedder's young Verts conceded the opening goal before the quarter-hour mark, their only shot on target coming from their opponents (Lyon La Duchère 1-0 ASSE, 12th). Razik Nedder's boys were unable to make the most of their chances, including a shot that hit the post, and went home empty-handed.
“We need to put things into context. We're playing in the Reserve Division in France's toughest N3 group, with no players over 20. In our training mission, the boys are progressing well, even very well for some of them, but being so young isn't easy. I want to focus on the positive: the content of the match in this context was very good, we controlled the game and dominated our opponents. The soccer wasn't fair today, the boys deserve better.”
